STETSON HATS

On Monday we went to Basin to get new registration stickers for our van and we stopped at the Basin park on the way back so the kids could get some energy out. We also are trying to start a tradition of taking Stetson's picture infront of this STETSON HATS sign in Greybull every couple years. I remember how hard it was to get him to stand still long enough to take his pic last time. This time was a cinch. Funny how they grow and change.

Michael had Monday and Tuesday off, and he only worked at the health fair yesterday for just a few hours, so that means 12 hr shifts coming up. :( I get too used to having the extra help and then when he leaves it hits me a little too hard.

Not much new around here. The weather is teasing--nice for a day then snow. Another thing we did on Monday was some yard work and Michael fixed the flat tires on mine and Stetson's bikes, so Stetson and I rode to the park and played. We tried to ride back but Stetson kept saying he was tired, and I tried different ways to get him to cooperate (lets race, first one to the sign is the winner, bike riding is so fun, we'll be home before you know it) but he wasn't going to give in, so I called Michael and he took over. Kids have a mind of their own and its definitely not always perfect. On a better note, Stetson entertains me endlessly. He starts many of his sentences with the word "wemembow" (remember). For instance, "Remember mommy, fold my sandwich in half."...or whatever it is he wants me to wemembow. He also uses the term "Last morning" quite frequently. Never "yesterday" or "last night." Always "last morning." So I've also heard sentences that start like this "remember last morning I..." Its hilarious. When I pick him up from CRC, he's sort of protective and ALWAYS glad to see me, which is wonderful. Like the last time I picked him up, we were heading for the doors and another little girl headed in that direction but Stetson said "No, thats my mommy!" I guess he was worried she would think I was her mom or that she'd come with us.

Stetson loves to read, play with his sticker book, make believe and to play tic-tac-toe. He's getting better at losing, which is a good thing because Michael and I don't let him win that often.

Kandace is her normal self. We recently bought a huge thing of strawberries at COSTCO and this girl LOVES them. They were great incentive for using the potty and she was always asking for them. Tuesday was our annual RS dinner. I was asked to do center peices, so I stuck with the bday theme and did balloons, confetti and ribbons on each table. I stressed out more than was necessary, it always makes you appreciate the background work that goes on for things like this. So much work and preparation and I'm grateful for them and their example. We also had a short musical program that I got to sing for, called "Sisters of Light."

98 more days 'til my due date! At times I think it will never come and other times I wish I could slow time down because I know life is about to get CRAZY! I'm feeling pretty good. Just starting to show more, which I'm not nearly as excited for as I was with Stetson & Kandace. I know that I'm about to get more and more uncomfortable and the only cure will be to have that baby which is exciting and scary all at the same time, but ultimately I know I am so very blessed to be able to have another one and without any complications.

We are excited to have Michael's older brother and their fam back in town. Stetson and Kandace love their cousins and it will be fun to get together more often.

Cute new pictures. I remember when you guys took the last picture of Stetson by that sign. He was so little then.

I think it is great you are teaching Stetson about losing. It didn't occur to me until a couple days ago that maybe Landon needs that lesson. He lost the race to get jammies on and screamed for like 30 minutes. Wowie, I didn't think it would be such a big deal. haha
