Simmons family reunion 2017

 We had our first Simmons family reunion.  Activities consisted of a session at the Billings, MT temple with all of us siblings and dad, dinner at Texas Roadhouse, boating, dinner and minute to win it games at our house, Cowley's day festivities, dinner at Todd & Emily's and some pictures.  Dad told stories the last night about living with a handicap.  He brought out his prosthetic arm he got as a young adult but never wears (uncomfortable).  He talked about going to a hospital to have surgery on his arm and realizing for the first time how very fortunate he actually was when he saw all the kids who were way worse off than him.
