Jacob and Mikayla's wedding

This was a hectic but great day.  We are grateful for Jacob and Mikayla.  She is the perfect fit for Jacob and the whole family, really, with her laid back personality and willingness to help.  Let's just say she's a heck of a lot more helpful than I ever was on the farm. :)  She comes from a farming family I think so she jumps right in and is great.

Janelle's Preschool graduation

Janelle graduated from preschool!  When we started her, we weren't sure if we would do 1 or 2 years of preschool but now we know she'll do 2.  Janelle loved preschool.  Her favorite days were Wed, rock tumble and roll day and Friday swimming day.  She made lots of friends, especially with Harley, who was actually her partner in crime I'm pretty sure they go into some trouble together but she had great teachers who were patient with her.

I prayed a lot to know about whether we should send Janelle to kindergarten or wait another year, and I wanted to send her so I knew which answer I wanted, but the answer came in a very small, but sure way.  Small enough that I could have talked myself out of it, but I knew I'd received an answer and I'm grateful Heavenly Father is mindful of my little Janelle.  Maybe he knows I'm getting sad thinking about my kids growing up and I need one more year of her in my house.  :)

Random

For Mother's Day, Kandace's class did a sweet music program with songs she'd been singing around the house for weeks.  She loves to sing and was excited for this.  She even got a short solo that she was thrilled for.

Dad has been taking the kids on dates when he comes to the temple on Fridays.  They've loved it.  This day was Janelle's turn.

We are done with scouts until school starts and I'm happy for a break.  Its been great working with Annie and Emilie Kidd.  They are to work with and great examples to me.  Annie isn't in this pic.  I really grew to love the boys and their unique personalities.
