last time in the Byron gym

Friday night was a pretty full day--Michael was working but I took Stetson to Mike & Rachel's so I could go to Billings with my dad and get Kandace's 1 yr pictures taken. I love having my kids picture taken! I must just be pretty vain. :) I did some shopping at Ross (of course) and Wal-mart and enjoyed my dad and Cannon's company (he got to come too for an orthodontist appt). We got home just in time to make it to the last game in the Byron gym. The gym was built in '36 or '37, can't remember which, but I have lots of good memories playing in that gym and I'm proud to be a Rocky mtn. alumni. I'm also proud of my big bro for being such a great bball coach. I think coaching highschool sports is one of the toughtest jobs in the world, but he does great and I love to watch his boys play.  GO GRIZZ!!

Valentine's Day Dinner

We had a very special Valentine's day today.  Michael brought home a sweet note for me then cooked me a delicious dinner including steak with a garlic rub, asparigus with a marinade of balsamic vinegar, butter and soy sauce, baked potatoe, rolls and sparkling cider.  It was SO good.  I forgot how wonderful it feels to sit down and enjoy a meal without kids!  It was heavenly (thanks to gma & gpa Asay for watching the kids).  Oh, and last night we went to the ward Valentine Dinner and Michael and I got to participate in a dating game called "eterally wed."  Of course we won.  For the dinner we had salad, roast beef, baked potatoes, rolls and pie for dessert.  

F.H.E.

Here's the low down for the last couple weeks. For F.H.E. we went to the Lovell pool and seriously had a MARVELOUS time. The first time we took Kandace she was a little skeptical of the whole situation, but this time she loved it. She even let us put her in our yellow float thing and pull her around. Stetson jumped off the low dive about 3 times and is just a little fish. I'm glad he loves the water. Its times like these that I am truly grateful for a prophet's counsel to set 1 night aside a week to be together as a family, because it really is a special time and brings our family together. Just this last week we had gpa Simmons' come for dinner and FH.E. and he even tried to help Stetson brush his teeth, but wasn't so successful. Stetson used to be very cooperative in that department but not anymore. In other news we're making plans for Kandace's 1st birthday next week and can't believe its already here!
